July 17, 2012 | Bulleit Bourbon BBQ at Grafton Street
Even when sober, it can be tough to keep your spirits straight. But you’ll never confuse the terms Scotch, bourbon, and whiskey again after tomorrow night’s Bulleit Bourbon BBQ at Grafton Street (1230 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, 617.497.0400). The Harvard Square spot’s patio will host a four-course feast ($60) that doubles as a crash course on the dark and dangerous liquors. Starting at 7 p.m., chef Eric Gregory will serve up plates like BBQ shrimp and smoked lamb chops, each paired with an appropriate Bulleit bourbon or rye cocktail like the Ward 8 and the Bourbon Buck. And as a nightcap, a Bulleit rep will explain the finer points of bourbon vis-à-vis other brown liquors. Seating is limited, so call now to save yourself a place on the patio.
