Most of us spend the Boston Marathon maintaining daylong drunkenness, cheering on runners from the sidelines, and ruing our lack of world-class athleticism. But we, too, can be marathon stars (without sacrificing a sunny day of drinking) at the seventh annual Great Boston Beer Marathon. This Saturday’s massive pub crawl will bring a horde of Viking-helmeted imbibers to 26 Fenway and Allston bars offering food and drink specials — one for every marathon mile. A ticket gets you a map, an official T-shirt, a helmet, raffle entries, and plenty of swag from the event sponsors. Registration is at the House of Blues (15 Lansdowne Street, Boston) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, and you can snag tickets ($25) at beermarathon.net.
